Is it worth to be a SuperStar?
Written By: Samantha F. (Sam_I_Am1997)
Many Stardoll users are superstar and royalty while a great portion of users are not. Though there are some advantages to being SupersStars and Royalty all members are treated the same by the Stardoll staff. I am currently Royalty and to tell you the truth I do not think it was worth it at all. Yes you get the opportunity to buy certain things and try beta testing for new features, but you or your guardian are spending real money, whether it be dollars, euros, etc. I have already spent close to $80 dollars on my account. What will I have to show for it in 20 years? By then Stardoll could be completely gone. Who knows? As a Non-SuperStar you have to work harder to make your account what you want it to be. I have a lot of respect for the Non-SuperStars because they seem to commit themselves more to their account, where SuperStars and Royalty have it in the bag with almost anything at their fingertips. Overall I think being a SuperStar or a Royalty is worth it if you like being able to buy certain things, try beta testing, and if you like your doll to stand out with special hair. Other than that you basically have a Non-SuperStar account.
There are many takes on this issue, so I took it upon myself to ask a couple of people their opinions. FashionistaNY said, “Yes and no. You can get all the specialty items. You can buy LE if you have the chance to, and makeup and such only reserved for SS’s. But In my opinion, I think there are much better ways to spend money.” JunoGirl16 also had a similar answer. She said, ” Yes, and no. No, because it’s not really different than regular membership, but yes, because you get to do more things.” Sawlly_cool, who is royalty, said, “For the first time, Yes. But for the 3rd or so time, not really.” Team.Me had a different point of view. She said, “Considering  I never was a superstar... lets see. It depends on your taste. You can become NCG without being superstar. It had pros and cons..”
As you can see everyone has their own opinion. You can base your opinion off of theirs or your can come up with one yourself. So, what do you think?  Is it worth to be a SuperStar?
